Images sideways and mirror image

I wasn't quite sure where to put this, so I assume it will be moved to the right group, if necessary. The collection below has many images tilted and backwards (ie hold them up to a mirror and you can read them) beginning with #62, and including most of the collection. If you have Microsoft Word, or some similar program, you can be persistent and see what you need to. I was able to download images, put them into Word, then rotate them and "turn them over" so it is not longer the mirror image and finally read what was there. That is quite an effort, and possibly many people don't know how to manipulate images, so I was wondering if it is possible to fix this?

The Tools menu of the catalog's image viewer includes a "Left" button, which rotates the image 90 degrees counter-clockwise each time you press it.

This will help with images that are just sideways or upside-down. Unfortunately, it doesn't help with the mirroring. (I'm wondering if the microfilm was put in the scanner the wrong way: is it just the digital images that are mirrored?)

Julia Szent-Györgyi, I have no idea how the images could become the mirror image of themselves, but your suggestion seems logical. It also could explain how the first 61 are fine. The problem was caught but the fix was time consuming and at image 61 someone declared "we've spent too much time on this" and moved on. Hopefully there could be an easy fix now.

Wow. That's a trick. I'll report this. Thanks.
