Indexing Indexes

I am reviewing Civil Registrations for Uruguay. Some of the pages in the project are indexes and include only names and dates of death.

It seems to me that these pages should be indexed because they contain valuable information about a critical event, namely a death.

But many of the indexers are marking these pages "No Extractable Data."

The specific project instructions should address whether these pages are to be indexed or not. Some of the considerations that go into the instructions include whether those are definitely dates (and not, say, page numbers), and whether including them in the indexing would duplicate information (from the records that the index is _of_).

A shared batch number would help people determine the correct answer for your specific case.
