Présentation sans titre (30).jpg

As you see in the picture Shawinigan-Sud is not belong to the Champlain County (MRC) this (MRC) county has been disolved in 2006. (This one was south Montreal, Québec)

Shawinigan-Sud is already in Québec Canada Camplain county in the catalog which is ok. (This one is east Trois-Rivières, Québec) And has been replace by the Les Chenaux MRC.

MRC mean Municipalité Régional de Comté in english is RCM = Regional County Municipalities

In French Québec FamilySearch/Wiki in the following link you can see all the County from 1855-1982 + - 1 year and all the MRC from 1982 + - 1 year through today.

https://www.familysearch.org/fr/wiki/Qu%C3%A9bec

It's will be better in FamilySearch Catalog use only the County in Québec not the MRC because after 1982 there is no reccord available.

I notice that Abitibi-Temiscamingue is not a county neither a MRC it's a area which is not use in Catalog or FamilySearch/Wiki or in Records search. We should see Abitibi county.

Some other mistake. May be FamilySearch catalog can write to me to fix some problem.
