Error in place names in North Dakota Cemetery Records collection

I'm seeing that there is a page of people listed in the North Dakota Cemetery Records collection as being buried in Burke, Germany, when it should be Burke County, North Dakota. Here's an example: https://www.familysearch.org/ark:/61903/1:1:QPTX-5H3H

This particular person is in the same collection another time with the correct place, so hopefully the other people on this page are as well.

Classic autostandardization error. What was actually indexed is in the field labeled with a parenthetical "Original".

That juxtaposition of "North Dakota, Cemetery Records" with "Event Place ... Germany" is pretty clear evidence to me that the bot was not subject to any data validation whatsoever. It just picked whatever came up at the top of the list, from anywhere on the planet. I do not understand how anybody could possibly believe this to be a good idea.

@Nielsen, Jacob Milo Thank you for reporting the auto-standardization error in the North Dakota Cemetery Records. We have reported it. We cannot predict how long it will take for a correction to be in place.
