You seem to be tacitly acknowledging the problem: these records have not be indexed by FamilySearch, but they published according to how they are received from Find My Past.

I wonder what you are expecting FamilySearch can do to address the matter? There was a major issue recognised some while ago about millions of 1871 census records not being provided to FamilySearch by FMP, but there seems little that can be done when FamilySearch has no direct indexing / publishing rights concerning England and Wales census records, so such matters are at the discretion of FMP.

Perhaps I am misunderstanding the issue here: if so, please explain exactly what you are asking FamilySearch to do about items that are either missing, or have been incorrectly indexed.

On each page of a transcript/extract/record on the Find My Past site, there is a "report an error" button, hidden under the More Actions button.

Thankyou both for your responses. As you elucidate, there is no method for users to report this type of missing data within Familysearch, but there is within the third party, for those users who have access to the third party.

It seems fair that third parties should be informed when errors are discovered to enable them to improve their service. Would it be too much to ask that this kind of error information is passed on by some kind individual who has access?
