Question on indexing/reviewing (re: nee)

So I have been away from indexing for a while. There's this 'nee' marked by the last name on a few immigration forms. I ... think this meant something similar to like an alias...? But I can't remember because I'd been away from this?

Here is an example and the one I'm working on. I wanted to ask for feedback on it.

Thank you.

née is the French word for the maiden/birth name for a woman. Her birth name is Behr (not Ber, as indexed), and her married surname is Ackerman.

I am just returning to indexing as well. I noticed on line (9) of the certificate she entered the USA using the name Yette Ber.

General Guidelines say, "If alias names were included on a document, or if an individual's name was listed with various spellings on the document, include all variants, separating each with the word Or."

I would wait for confirmation on this, but I would enter the info as follows:

    given name: Yetta or Yette

surname: Behr Or Ber Or Ackerman

You'd ditch the last Or and index the surname as Behr or Ber Ackerman.
