If you make your search on the Find My Past website, there is a field for street.

You don't even need to have a paid subscription to do this. Just sign-up to Find My Past and you will be able to see the results. Unfortunately, you will need to pay / have a subcription to see the finer details - i.e., the original page(s) from the 1939 Register, but at least you can see who lived at the various house numbers in the street, from the Results page.
Incidentally, I believe the FamilySearch (1939) index is only searchable whilst at a Family History Centre (although no good for street searches). I have a number of these sources added to IDs in Family Tree. I able able to view them whilst at home, but could only add them whilst at a FHC.

FamilySearch Centers have access to most of the Find My Past database, onsite. And LDS Church members have the opportunity to have a from home subscription to FMP. And, some public libraries offer access to FMP. Mine does.
