Records of my deceased Armenian relatives occasionally become confidential. Could someone fix?

Hello, I have a recurring problem where records of my Armenian relatives occasionally become private/confidential, even though they are deceased. It happens when I add place information involving Armenia, Turkey, Ottoman Empire, and Iran, but it does not happen every time. Fortunately it's happening less that it used to, but it still happens. The FamilySearch Support Team has helped me in the past to make my records public and instructed me to post here in the community when it happens again. Could someone please make these records public? Thank you.

Did you ever get this resolved? I also had a problem with this. I was told that people born in Armenia become confidential because of some law in Turkey that stems from its prejudice against Armenians. And the church (which includes FamilySearch) strives to follow the laws of each country, even if it is unjust and prejudice.

I have encountered this, and it is frustrating. Due to the large number of historical records FamilySearch has indexed, duplicate profiles keep popping up in Family Tree but I know if I improve those public profiles they will get flagged Confidential and parked in my private tree space. Again.

My work-around is to Follow them and in my Following list put a label on them that reminds me not to edit them.

@laurenmugardyas It still happens occasionally to records I am working on, but they have all been fixed thus far. I just request that they not be private/confidential and typically they get fixed within a few days.
