I recently got married and I'm trying to add my spouse to my tree. We both have family search accounts but when we try and add each others IDs it says there is no match found. I don't want to create a new one because we both have active accounts.

The reason you cannot find each other is because you are both alive! Records of living people are personal to your account. You will therefore need to create new records for your respective spouse. You can then link those records to parents, grandparents, etc. Once you get to deceased persons, there is no longer a need to create new records as you will be able to find the records of deceased people.

Should one of the living people in your account die, you will then need to merge that record with other copies assuming all have been marked as deceased.
