indexing marriages when only a few documents but have to fill in blanks for 55 entries

what do you do when indexing marrieages or births when there are only a few documents but the system will only let you submit a batch if all 40 or 55 documet blanks are fill apparently with <BLANK> entries - must be a better way

Click the trash can icon.
Then choose "Delete All Blank Entries"
