SPECIAL HOTEL RATES FOR ROOTSTECH ATTENDEES?
In years past RootsTech attendees could take advantage of special hotel rates. I don't see anything like that for 2023; I emailed RootsTech twice and got no answer.
Does anyone out there know so I can tell my people? Many thanks!

On the RootsTech Facebook page, this question has been previously asked. There was a special deal with the Plaza hotel, but it is now filled. Others posted that they got specials with Marriott and Hilton just by asking the hotel directly. During the RootsTech Facebook Live last Friday, RootsTech staff posted this link to hotels in the area.

What Hotels are supporting Rootstech? Some of us don't do FB.

There are several hotels surrounding the Salt Palace Convention Center.
They cost way more than you would expect. None are under contract to my knowledge.
The hotels surrounding the place are: Plaza Hotel, Radisson Hotel, Hyatt Regency Hotels (one is attached to the center and very expensive), AC Hotel (Marriott), Holiday Inn Express, Hilton Salt Lake and Marriott Downtown. Other choices are Airbnb and hotels along the UTA's Trax routes further out.
