In 1811 Italian record, the names are "frenchified" as records are in French
I can read both Italian and French, so these 1811 records are from Italy, but are in French. Perhaps during Napoleon's control of area(?). The first and last names are "frenchified" (ie.e., "Jean" instead of "Giovanni" or "Marie" instead of "Maria").
Other online records from later on (After defeat of Napoleon and Italians were installed as bureacrats(?)) for the same person show the Italian spelling....how to handle so there is a linkage? As far as I can tell, the last names have not been "frenchified".

If you are indexing or reviewing, you only need to index the names and other information EXACTLY as they appear on the record. The researcher can locate the image and decided if the names are "frenchified" and if they belong in their lineage.
If you are working on your own research, then you make a note about your findings on the person's page.
