Hi,

I am perusing throgh my pedigree on the FamilySearch Tree.

There is a major problem with FSID = G428-2VK and G428-4LL.

For some reason, they have been linked over and over, creating a major problem in my pedigree / family tree and on Realative Finder.

If anyone knows how to fix this issue, it would be much appreciated.

Joanne

    If you look at Cainnech of Mar 960-1014 • G428-4LL,

    you will see that he is both the father and the son of

    Gille Cherlig Mormaer of Mar 985-Deceased • G428-2VK.

    This creates a “looping pedigree” which you can fix by deciding which relationship is correct and deleting the other father-son relationship.

    @Joanne Fletcher_2

    The problem is quite clearly shown on the pages of G428-2VK and G428-4LL. You can see the message, "Child Born Before Father". You simply have to remove G428-2VK and GXBT-CLB as the parents of G428-4LL and the problem will be solved.

    Please come back here if you don't know how to do this - you will be given advice, or another user can even do this for you.
