Indexing names from Parish records in Cork, Ireland

The batch I have been given does not say whether they are birth or death records. It's just the month, and date followed by usually 5 names written horizontally, not in a list. Example:

December

18 Jane Doe, John Brown, Susan Jones

Thomas Smith, Fred Johnson

No parents or spouses are included, or ages. Nothing to identify what kind of records they are. Should I guess or send the record back without indexing?

Can you share a batch number, please? If this is the series I'm familiar with, they are baptismal records. Very few parishes kept death registers.

Generally, there is the name of the child, the parents, and the sponsors (godparents). Sometimes their address (the townland name) is also included.

I pulled up a random Cork register - batch M3ZL-JKZ - from 1879, for an example.

Margaret [child of] Edmund Ryan and Ellen Glynn of Ballyhass. Sponsors Jeremiah Hassett and Hannah Flynn. The initials of the priest who performed the baptism.
