Automatic Note Generation When Attaching Census Records

FS used to create an automatic note that the user could optionally insert into the main profile when attaching census records (US and UK). This is a very useful feature! That way, when looking at the main profile, you can see which census records are attached without opening the sources and hunting them down.

The automatic census note generator is gone! See - no option to carry over the census note that is the basis for this new profile I just created. They're all the same now. Is that intentional or a bug?

    We are sorry for the frustration. You can consider this a bug, definitely not intentional.

    This has been a issue for a few days and our engineers are aware and working on the problem.

    Best wishes.

    Thank you for your efforts in referring this problem to the engineers. Unfortunately, the engineers seem not to have advised you that the matter does now appear to have been resolved.

    We have come to expect not getting a direct response from them, but I am disappointed they did not update you, so you could have shared the good news with Community members.

    @Paul W

    Not to worry, our engineers are awesome!! If the problem was solved before I posted this answer, it was my fault for not double-checking our list of existing issues.

    Take care😊
