If you can give us the ID number for the read only record we can look at that and help you determine why it is marked read only. Usually it is a famous person, or a public person.

And I've seen the occasional glitch when a profile is marked Read Only. A few weeks ago, everyone in my direct line was marked read only - even my own profile. The next day, the glitch cleared.

This is my ancestor's ID # KWNN-G4B. She is my 3rd-great grandmother, not famous, not public. Please help me get this banner removed so I may upload memories.

It would be helpful to have a little explanation as to why the particular person page is Read Only.
Also, it specifically says no additions or changes can be made, but they CAN be changed through a community request. Read Only people usually have lots of relations who would love to add more memories or sources.
