what is the name of this person i cant work it out
i have a pic of a relatives father name but i cant work out what the name says if anyone could help me i would be so grateful this pic is part of the birth cert of my relative so this person would also be my relative

It's always preferable to show the entire document so we can compare other words in the same document.
That said - that's probably "Thady" - a short form of Thaddeus. I have quite a few in my family.

In Ireland, it appears to be a popular diminutive of Thaddeus, as Aine appears to know! (Actually, would have thought it should be "Thaddy", to match its origin and better reflect pronunciation.)

Thadeus, Thaddeus, Thadius, Thaddius are all variants I've found within my own family.
