How do we report when the computer index skipped a line?

I was checking names last night and noticed the computer index skipped a line (one of the children). I could not figure out how to add the line nor could I find a way to flag the indexing error of this type.

You should not consider the computer scan will correctly get every line and should give us the opportunity to correct/report that error.

What I have been doing (in the absence of project instructions) is to mark a transcription error on the line after with "Other" and then put the skipped line number and name in the comments.

It is possible that some could go in, review one name, and then go out. So it's possible that you skip a name when reviewing 20 names in a row, but the name was not actually skipped. When we do family review, it will be obvious if a name is skipped, and we will catch them then.

Some project instructions would be helpful here. I have also experienced skipped fields or rows. Usually for me it is the last name that is skipped with no way to go back and add it. It's confusing because I don't know if it is intentional by the system or not. It keeps me guessing and feeling uncertain as I review.

Missing name does not mean the line was not Indexed..

If people are skipping around just reviewing by surname.. Those lines are removed from review availability, meaning those indexed names will not appear on a page being reviewed just by location.
