I have a ward member who has a printed book of her family history from The Netherlands. How does one go about getting it digitized and added to FamilySearch?

I haven't seen the book yet to know if it's acceptable, but from conversations I'll assume it is complete.

    @Jason D Maughan

    The following article should help you.

    https://www.familysearch.org/en/help/helpcenter/article/how-do-i-donate-to-the-family-history-library

    Here is a paragraph from the article that should be helpful:

    "We need information about the records you want to donate so we can determine whether they meet our criteria. With permission from the author, we digitize donated material and post it online at our website, FamilySearch.org. Researchers are able to view the material free of charge from the website."

    FamilySearch accepts the following materials:

    • Family histories.
    • Local and county histories.
    • Autobiographies and biographies containing genealogical material.

    A physical address, a phone # and an email address is also included in the article.

    We hope this helps.
