Creating a new person: marked as Living or Dead?
When creating a New Person who is less than 110 years old (based on census records), I assume that I should mark them as "Living" unless I specifically know of (or have records of) their death. Is this the correct procedure?

Answered my own question! :)

If I didn't know for certain whether a person was deceased or living, I would only create a profile for him/her if it was needed as a connector between deceased people. That is, for example, if I had an obituary from a few decades ago listing the then-surviving children of the deceased, I'd only create profiles for the married ones, and even that only if I had some information about their in-laws. The rest of the information from the obituary would go in my offline family tree file.
