I am wanting to search transcriptions of parish records for Bolton Abbey in Yorkshire. The film number is 919157 item 2 and DGS 7587892.

Searching this film only lists dates in the 1800's, where as the film description indicates dates as early as 1632.

Am I missing something?

There are a lot of results prior to 1800, but they don't seem to be indexed!!

The fact that there is a magnifying glass icon next to the film number does NOT mean that the WHOLE film has been indexed, only that at least SOME of the film has been indexed. In some cases the whole film may have been indexed, but you can really only try and guess from the indexed records themselves

Item 2 on Film 919157 has the earlier records according to the description. Those are only available at an affiliate library or FHC, so I can't verify today.

    Hi

From my attempts at searching using the magnifying glass it only brings up results for years greater than 1800. You need to use this search method first before looking up the original scans.
