How do you correct a census?

While reviewing a census, I found a discrepancy between the actual document and the image information pertaining to race.

While doing additional research, some of these people are included on the Laguana Pueblo rolls, yet are listed as WHITE. But reviewing the handwriting, a clear distinction can be seen between the husband who is white (W) , and the rest of the family that should be listed as Indian (IN). Considering where this is (New Mexico) and the census rolls from the tribe, race should be looked at and reviewed more closely. This entire tribe for the 1900 census has been whitewashed and if one was to only look at the typed information and not the actual census, they would be sorely mislead.
