Im trying to index a MO naturalization index. the dates listed for birth of the individual is 1982 or 1882...it is listed as 5-1-82. also the date of naturalization is given as 12-15-21. there are no other clues to determine the date. what do i add to the birth year and event year field?

Without the batch code to check the Project Instructions - my vote:

use 2 digit year (that's what the image shows - the researcher will have to determine 1882 or 1982 I guess).
