Indexing City Directory
This man and woman live at the same address, but I cannot assume they are married. What does (wid Maguire) mean??

Elizabeth Pharmer should be indexed as the primary on the entry form. She is the widow (wid) of Maguire, so he will be indexed as her spouse. I would index Maguire in the given name field since we do not know if it is a surname or given name.
Henry O Pharmer will have another entry. He does not have a spouse to list.
