Mary Agnes Allonby Married name Rogerson Housekeeper to Beatrix Potter Near Sawrey
Hello to all of the Family Search Community.
Mary Agnes Rogerson is my great-aunt.
Mary Agnes Rogerson died on 19th December 1977 at Meathop Hospital Grange-over Sands, Cumbria.
She lived in Windermere Cumbria (retied housekeeper to Beatrix Potter from 1911-1950).
From Mary's Death Certificate Mary was Cremated, I am trying to find where Mary was cremated with not much luck.
I have tried all local churches including St Peter's Far Sawrey the place her husband was laid to rest at a young age, I tried all local papers and record offices without a result.
Does any person know where the local Crematorium is located in the South Lakeland district Cumberland Used to be part of Lancashire England.

If you put 'Cumbria crematorium' into Google, you will get a map and a list of all crematoria with their phone numbers. Perhaps they can help you?

I did do a Search of South Lakeland crematoriums Cumbria this is where Mary lived. Never tried all of Cumbria'I will give it a try
