Looking for family members of Edward Kinsworthy Walden and Rebecca Sue Cowling, reseaching diabetes

Hi, looking for my cousins out there that have diabetes, we carry type 1 diabetes. My grandmother was Sue Walden who married Carl Bohannon. She got type 1 diabetes at 54, I got it at 52. Current research believes we are not type 1 diabetics , something else. Myself and 5 of my cousins are currently having our DNA researched for the defect that makes us diabetic.
