The 1860 book “A genealogical dictionary of the first settlers of New England” by James Savage - Vol II, p. 499 has, for the name HUNNI

A Gen. Dict. of the 1st Settlers of NE - Vol 2, p. 499 - highlighted.jpg

WELL, at the end of the 5th sentence, the phrase “went again to impr. his est.” (see attached).

What does “to impr. his est.” mean?

Thanks in advance for any help.

    Hello.

The abbreviated phrase “impr his est” likely means “ improve his estate.”
