What is the phone number at the FHL in SLC that will get a human voice to answer?

The menu does not address my topic and the last option gives dead air.

I have heard about a media station and would like to know about that service.

Is there a community for the FHL?

    Hello @BaxterBeagle.

Maybe this link to information about the Family History Library will be of use:

    https://www.familysearch.org/family-history-library/family-history-library-services

Here is the Media Conversion page:

Hoping this helps to answer your question.

    Hi @BaxterBeagle

To clarify, you are attempting to phone the Family History Library in Salt Lake City.

They have just recently re-open with hours of operation from 9 a.m. to - 5 p.m. Monday through Friday. This is the phone #1-801-240-6996 I have found for them

I hope you are able to get your questions answered by them.

As for your question regarding a FamilySearch "community" category for FHL, there is a category for Family History Centers but not one specifically for the Salt Lake one.
