Started an Indexing project; now I can't find it/access it. Why?

Hi:

Yesterday (7 July) started indexing marriage records for Halifax Co, VA marriage records. Think I entered 10 of 40. Was going to work on it more today (8 July) -- can't find it. Why?

It is possible that the batch have expired or it was pulled for some rearrangement.

When you are exiting your project, click on black arrow going left, to bring your project into My Batches list, it will bring you back to the same place/entry you left next time yu want to index.

Tip: Be sure you are starting at your indexing home page and not Find A Project. This is the link:

Not really :o( I think I did something wrong when I closed things down last night. I'm "thinking" I may have hit a button I shouldn't have. I tried the link you provided, and it didn't show up. Started on another. Now, when I go to the "web indexing homepage", the following shows up: " US, Virginia—Marriage Records, 1853–1935 [M3WJ-CPK]" Hopefully that one will still show up when I logout and log back in.

    Later.

I have done "something wrong" before. I wanted to click on Return to Web Indexing and instead clicked on Return Batch. I wish on Return Batch there was a pop-up, "Are you sure you want to Return the Batch for someone else to work on?" just to provide that second layer of protection.
