Mr./Mrs./Miss: When do you use these for indexing?

Regarding the "Prefix" field.....Do you record Mr./ Mrs or Miss in the "Prefix field" ONLY when the person included/wrote it on THEIR document OR

do you try to include it every time? What do you do for a child or person under 18, then?

    Type what you see and don't type what you don't see are the basic rules for indexing.

    So, you would never type a prefix that was not actually written on the document.
