  • I'm working in Annelov, Malmohus, Sweden and need help translating a 1764 death record:
  • The death is 21 past Trinity in 1764 and buried 25 October. Is this for Påhl Sorensson? That's who I'm looking for but it doesn't look like a circle above the a! Also can you translate the feast dates?
  • Thank you so much for your help!

21 past Trinity in 1764 was 11 November. See here for the Feast Day Calendars in the Sweden Wiki on Family Search: https://www.familysearch.org/wiki/en/Sweden_Feast_Day_Calendars. Just choose the year you want and find the feast day.

This burial record is for the still-born female child of Pär Svensson who was born on the 25th of October.

Thank you so much! I needed a reliable opinion to confirm it is for Pär and not Pål!

This record of Annelöv, Malmöhus read:

Dom. 21 p. Trin. 1764 (11 November 1764) was buried Pär Svensson's stillborn female child (she was) born

    25 October 1764.
