Using a year from a questionable entry in the Birth Register

I have a question regarding birth year in the following index:

US, New York, Yonkers—Birth and Death Registration and Indexes, 1875–1916 [MSB9-XJ4]

There is no specific column for Birth/Death year, however someone has put a lightly written a year(presumably)

at the top of the name column. Should we assume that is the birth year and enter it or is that an untenable stretch.

I opened the shared batch and looked at your work. It looks like you are doing a great job! I read the Project Instructions>What to remember>Bulletpoint 11 which states: "The event year may be written just once for multiple records. This date applies to all subsequent records until a new date was indicated." I would continue as you have started 1908 for all entries until the red 1909 appears and so on. What a great question!
