I am indexing US—City and Business Directories, 1749–1990 [Part B] [MSPJ-PH4] Image Name 00872771

In Batch ID MSPJ-PH4 and a number of other batches there is an small capital E in front of some of the names. I do not know what that means or if it should be indexed. Please Advise.
