I updated Family search mobile app. When I did this the ' Find Relatives at Roots Tech' banner at the top of their page has now disappeared.

  Others have had the same problem. The answers I've seen involve updating the app, or uninstalling and re-installing. Perhaps if you sign out, then back in it will help? Sorry I can't offer more.
