Are there differences between the mobile app and the web based FamilySearch Site?

I am sometimes not able to find what I'm looking for on the IOS device. Is this my inexperience or are there differences from the web based site?

  Here is a link of a video to show the Mobil app Familysearch. It's a 3 years old version, so some application can have moved and we have more option today, but I hope it's will be helpfull.
