Is it possible to correct the birthplace of my mother on the calendar and in Activities "Where am I from"? In the person file it is correct..St. Vincent, West Indies. The others have it listed as Sao Vincente, Cape Verde.

    .

    FYI

    .

The "Activity" of "Where am I from?" is MOST likely NOT the problem/issue.

    .

The most likely problem/issue is the "Standard Place", selected for the actual

    "Birthplace", whatever is recorded.

    .

In "Family Tree" of 'FamilySearch' for your Mother ...

    .

    For her "Birth" Record ...

    .

The "Birthplace" (field) may, in fact, be "St. Vincent, West Indies" ... fine, all good.

    .

What you need to do is to check the "Standardized Event Place" (field) for that "Birthplace"; as, that may be incorrectly "Standardised" as "Sao Vincente, Cape Verde".

    .

IF, that is the case; THEN, you will need to see if there is a "Standard" (ie."Standardized Event Place") for "St. Vincent, West Indies"; or, if, there is not an exact one; then, chose the "West Indies".

    .

    Furthermore ...

    .

IF, that is the problem/issue; THEN, you will need to give the "Activity" of "Where am I from?" TIME to process and catch-up with the "Change", it certainly will NOT be immediate, it may take some time for the "System" to "Cycle Through" and pick that up.

    .

Let us know, what you find.
