Is there any history on what happened at the reoccupation of Batovce, Levice, Slovakia (known as Bat, Hont, Hungary) in 1688. I saw a record on microfilm that there was one. I noticed that lutheran vitals are not recorded from late 1688 until 1724.

The FamilySearch film number is 2212181 but it is not available online yet nor is it indexed. I added a picture showing the post reoccupation statement such as it is.

I did a few searches in both English and Slovak, but wasn't finding much. You could try writing to the city directly and they might be able to put you in touch with a local historian or museum that might know more about the history of that. Try this link for contact information: http://www.batovce.sk/.

Thank you Ellie, I will write to them and see what I can discover.
