Date of child birth dispute
This is one of my relatives and someone attached a child birth to him years after his death how can that be possible ?

Im in your same boat....they have wrong people as my 2x great grand parents & my great grandmas date of death.....i let them know but nothing has changed....because of this, i cant start this part of my tree....id also like the answer

IF, that you know that that Child, "Joseph PREWITT" ( K4FY-H7K ), is NOT the Child of, "Michael PREWITT" ( MW1V-7XJ ); and, "Elizabeth SIMPKINS" ( G7Z5-MT7 ); then, just "Remove" them as Parents.

I just took a look as the "ChangeLog" for "Joseph PREWITT" ( K4FY-H7K ), his ORIGINAL Parents were "Michael PRUITT" ( 2Q1V-RFW ) and "Rachel Elizabeth SIMKINS" ( LHR3-DF1 ), BOTH, of whom are NOW "Deleted" (ie. "Archived") individuals/persons = [ie. most probably "Merged"/"Combined" a few (too many) times over].

NEW Father ADDED = "Michael PREWITT" ( MMS7-35Y )
Another (NEW??) Father REMOVED = "Michael PREWITT" ( MMR3-WRJ )
2016
NEW Father REMOVED = "Michael PREWITT" ( MMS7-35Y )

NEW Father ADDED = "Michael PREWITT" ( MW1V-7XJ )
2020
NEW Father REMOVED = "Michael PREWITT" ( MW1V-7XJ )

You must ALWAYS look at what has transpired for ALL the individuals/persons concerned (ie. Father; Mother; and, Children) to get a handle on the 'Big Picture'.
