Why is ALL my information lost except for my own? I NOW HAVE to re-submit every detail again, this is getting ridiculous as some information is held by other members of my extended family.

Keep in mind one thing - - this is a living person

Living Persons are not shared between accounts

so if you happened to entered the info on one account and then later maybe started using a different account - - than that one be one explanation.

HOWEVER - if you have always used the same account then the names must be there somewhere

I have a feeling that the people you have entered - are indeed there - just not "connected" linked to other records - so you dont see them where you expect/

Here is one suggestion though whenever you enter someoen new for the first time - take the time to WRITE DOWN - the ID number - for example on the screen shot the person has an ID of LJFT-4FT

Keep in mind - you will be able to relocate any person you enter by this NUMBER which is unique to each person.

have you tried looking for these "missing people" by their name and birht date on a search query???

or did you simply look for them on the family tree - where you expected them to appear?

if you entered it - it's certainly still there somewhere.

can you provide some example names and dates?

Thank you Dennis, for this reply...ALL my brothers and cousins information, lost. I now have to retrieve all this the HARD part is some parts they have? Funny thing is ALL the ordinances are still there but children info is not? Here is AN example of my youngest sibling, NOW I KNOW I fed his info in. I do NOT know what has happened but it is frustrating as this is the third time now I have to re-enter everything?

1..No, ONLY one account holder as I am the principle person who installs the information, though I get what I do not have from other relatives, when possible.

2..just not "connected" maybe BUT I add them [children] to their parents and their parents are my brothers/cousins and direct relatives

3..I will try to screen shot all of them in future when I add them.

    4..yes to the latter.

    Thank you for your time.

What happens if you look for them by name and birth date: by using this page:

    https://www.familysearch.org/tree/find/name

no need to to screen prints - - just write down the ID numbder'

I have had a good look. And it seems as if MY UPDATED info from last 3-5 years was wiped I have had cousins married and now that info including my brothers not there? I have retrieved most of my siblings info thru journals and FB BUT find it perplexing this has happened again?

I find it almost impossible to believe they are deleted

rather that you are just not finding them where you expect.

its not too complex - all you have to do is type in their name and their year of birth

the records must be there - you just need to find them - no need to re type them all in.

what do you mean by "their account s"????

here is THE classic example...This is my cousin and her husband, I entered all info of HER family "last night" and yet you can see, NO children?

What I mean is, when I add their names in under children to parents... I click on [ their ] name again and a dialog box pops up with their name on it, I click on it, and brings me to "their" account and I add the rest of the details in. eg: birth place, birth date etc. Here is a pic as example. Hope this helps your query?

    understood.

"record" is the better word - not "account".

I had to pop out sorry. I hope you understand what I am trying to convey, yes record is better than account. IF I remember correctly, when I did it last time, when you had children and underneath their married partners name they had children with an arrow or something, could I be wrong? It JUST seems adding is alot longer process or is it me?

Again , thank you for your time and patience.
