I took a look in newspapers.com
and didnt find one
but did find this:

Thank you for your reply. Unfortunately, there were 2 John Suttons married to 2 "Marys" in this southwest Virginia town. I do not believe that this article is referring to my Great Grandfather. The names do not coincide. I shall continue to search. Thanks again.
