My cousin has a copy of this genealogy of the Sam Ching line that lived in Hawaii. It is one of 100 copies printed. It dates back to around 1910 from Hong Kong or Taiwan. He is willing to share it with FamilySearch Catalog but I don't know if it is already in the Family Search Library because I do not read Chinese Characters. There are about 300 images and 2 pages on each image. He thinks it goes back 23 generations.
I can't find it in the FamilySearch collection based on the information in this photo. I searched by the surname (陳) and the name of the compiler (孟夏月). But that doesn't mean that FamilySearch doesn't have it already, since it could be that FamilySearch has a copy of this genealogy book but the compiler's name wasn't cataloged yet.
The most effective search would include both the surname and the hometown. Can you send a photo of the title page or another page that might have the location or ancestral hall?
