Danish Census Search
I am trying to find Karen Christensen in the 1885 censuses and later. I lose track of her and her family members after that. Her husband died in 1872 and she is harder to track after that. Could anyone help me find her or her family? https://www.familysearch.org/tree/person/details/KGCF-DTC
This is the last census I have of her in 1880. https://ddd.dda.dk/asp/alle_opl_en.asp

Your link above did not work. She is here in Rosmus parish in Randers county in the 1880 census with her two children, Christen and Nicoline: https://www.danishfamilysearch.com/cid11300235.
According to the Hoed parish churchbook, she dies in Balle, Rosmus parish on 7 June 1882 and is buried in Hoed, Randers, Denmark on 11 June 1882. This record states that she was the widow of Niels Johnsen in Hoed (second line): https://www.sa.dk/ao-soegesider/en/billedviser?bsid=391192#391192,74274793.
But in the Rosmus parish churchbook, it says she died 6 June 1882. See here (entry #6): https://www.sa.dk/ao-soegesider/en/billedviser?bsid=368943#368943,70719018. I would probably trust this as the correct death date as this is the place where she actually died. In this record, she is listed as 62 years old, but in the Hoed death record, she is 59. The Rosmus record also states that she is widow of Niels Johnsen.

Oh wow, this is really helpful! Thank you!!
How did you find these? A page-by-page search?

After spending a lot of time (without results) trying to find her in the censuses after 1880, it occurred to me that she may have died and so I looked page-by-page in Rosmus death records (the place where she was last in the census) beginning in 1880, and there she was! Then I just had to look in the Hoed parish records to confirm the information.

Thank you! I really appreciate you finding that! I really like knowing the ending of her story and I can confidently conclude research on her. Thank you again!
