Posthumous: last-born, i.e. born after the death of a parent. (It's not clear which one. It could possibly be both.)

(A stillborn baby would not have godparents.)

Note that the -am ending on things like posthumam and Elizabetham is Latin grammar. The correct nominative or "dictionary" forms are posthumus and Elizabetha, respectively. (Likewise for the -o of Francisco, which is Franciscus "Frank, Francis".)

Thank you once again for you precious help . You open up new perspectives for me .

So, if it's not a dead baby, it could be the death of the mother (died in child birth ) . I will search in the death register ....

    best regards

    I have found ! 😀

My reasoning is almost correct exept tha it's not the mother but it's the father who died a few months earlier ...

    + 1783 Vinkotzy Franciscus.jpg

    02 mars 1783 mezoors hu.

Franciscus Vinkotzy avendator villa kuts = folensis morisus omnibus necessarus, annorus 44 .im bony

I translate that by : Franciscus died at the age of 44, (but my latin is so tiny) that the rest is without any sense :

like : "mercant, from the top of the town, fully deceased skinny ??? Iy does not mean any thing !!!

    Can you help me again
