Is there still the calling of Stake Temple and Family History Consultant-Indexing. ?
Is there still a calling Stake Temple and Family History Consultant-Indexing? The Albuquerque NM Stake has called a new consultant over indexing. Our stake clerk says there is no calling specifically for indexing. Her calling in LDS Tools is Stake Temple and Family History. How can we make sure she gets the language report sent to her?

As far as I was aware, with the 'revamp' of "Temple and Family History" Work in the Church, there is no longer (well, not yet anyway) any "Generic" / "Standard" 'Calling' like/such as the old "Stake Indexing Director" calling.
.
The only thing that I can suggest is that you make sure that the Member is "Setup" as a "Group Admins" in ALL the 'Indexing' "Groups" within your Stake.
.
The old "Stake Indexing Director" calling is more a Position/Assignment now, rather than a "Generic" / "Standard" 'Calling'.
.
I hope that this helps.

Although the -Indexing designation does not appear as an option in MLS the assignment to look after indexing can be and in this case was made by priesthood leaders. She can send an email to fsindexing@familysearch.org with her name, stake name and calling with the request to receive the language report. If she is interested, there are language indexing support missionaries available to offer support and training. Again, that help can be requested through an email to fsindexing@ FamilySearch.org or a shout out for help on this forum.

The Language report was designed and implemented as an addition to the general reports contained by the system. It was organized to have all the information in one place that might be desired relating to the indexing of records at the individual, the ward, the Stake, and the International Level.
Since it was in addition to the system generated reports and had to be sent out by email, the individual called by the stake, currently the Stake Temple and Family History Consultant, assigned to indexing, needed to send a request to fsindexing@familysearch.org in which they stated the full name of the Stake, their name and position, requesting the report.
The report is then sent out the beginning of each month. The initial page of the report shows all indexing and reviewing done world wide and is designated by language. It shows what has been indexed and reviewed for the just completed month. The same information year to date and year to date the prior year.
It then gives this same information specifically for the Stake, broken out by totals for each ward. The final section of the report shows the information broken out ward by ward showing all who have indexed or reviewed and in which language or languages and again what has been done in the immediately past month, the year to date and the past year to date.
The information is comprehensive enough that it is a tremendous tool for those with leadership responsibility to determine if they are reaching their objectives in indexing, training reviewers to help in the completion and thus subsequent publication of these precious records, and whether they are utilizing and or creating the language resources needed to aid all of us around the world looking for ancestors from other nations and in different languages.
It is hoped that this information will ultimately be incorporated into a system report that will just be available each month. However again at the moment you just need to send a request as mentioned above. We hope all Stakes will take opportunity to request this report and utilize it in evaluating what they are achieving and might achieve as they seek to move forward the Lord's marvelous work of redemption.
