German Translation
This is a North Dakota church membership record in German. I need some help with translation. I've circled/ underlined what I need help with. The note to the side of the record appears to be 2 April 94. der Frieden Gem. zu Dickey N.D. a?schlossen. I know that many from this congregation organized another church. It that was this note indicates? Thank you for your help!

Hello Angela Cloward ,
the word is "angeschlossen", i.e., the person joined the Friedens Gemeinde (peace parish) of Dickey, N.D.

I'm not quite sure which areas you mean...
names in the left column:
6 Alwine Maria
(I can't read what is written between lines 4 and 5)
5 Julius Schulz
6 Hulda "

I see. So Tomasdorf is the German name of a town normally known under its Polish name, probably Tomaszów (now Tomaszów Mazowiecki).
Places near Saviat should have had German names at that time. I can't find an Alt Guglow there, but a village called Alt Jugelow about 10 miles west of Saviat which sounds very similar, maybe somebody misheard the name.

Thank you this is very helpful. There are four other areas on this document that I need clarification on. Do you have any insights?

Ulrich thank you for your help on translating. I wonder can you make out the two underlined place names? For Frau Zielke it looks like Tomas dorf. Is that correct?
For Gustav Zielke his place name appears to be Alt Gugslow. Is that correct?

Yes, I read it also as Tomasdorf and Alt Guglow. But - places with these names seem not to exist, at least not in Germany. The first case is easy to solve if the place is (correctly) spelled Thomasdorf. Meyers Gazetteer lists two places with this name. However, there is no place that starts with "Alt Gug-".
Do you know whereabout these places should be located?

As far as Tomasdorf I would guess it would be in the vicinity of Malgorzatow, Petrikau, Poland. Other records I have found for Wilhelmina Tonn, the wife of Herman have her birthplace listed there.
For Gustav Alt Gug? may be in the vicinity of Saviat, Stolp, Pomerania.
