I'm having a tough time reading the words in this baptism record.

In the 2nd column under the name, Anna Margrethe Würtz, what is written under her name?

In the 4th column, what is the word before the mother's name, Maria Magdalene Andersen? And what are the words in between the mother's name and the father's name, Johan Philip Würtz?

I appreciate any help you can give.

The words under Anna Margrethe's name are: "uægte barn" which is illegitimate child. There are some more symbols following "barn", but I don't know the exact meaning.

In the fourth column the word preceding the mother's name is "Fruentimmer", which is a term for an unmarried mother. I understand it is very uncomplimentary.

The words between the mother's name and Johan Philip Würtz indicate that the mother has claimed that he, Johan Philip Würtz is the father of the child. The word just before his name is his occupation. I believe it is "kæglen" but I am not familiar with the word.

    Just one other comment.

I am pretty certain that the mother's name is Maria Magdalena Besser, not Andersdatter. The 1834 census for Frederik, Viborg, shows a Maria Magdalena Besser who is born in about 1801. See here: https://www.danishfamilysearch.com/cid2516738. She may, or may not, be the same person as in the birth record. There is no sign of the child.

Thank you very much @Norm Baker for the help. I did notice that the same parish record was indexed in Ancestry as Maria Magdalena Besser being the mother. It does look more like Besser.

It is a wonder where the child would be in 1834 if this is the Maria Magdalena Besser in the census record working as a servant.

I did find a record of a Grethe Wurtz in Fredriks Parish in the 1834 census that is listed as being a foster child who is 9 years old -- the same age that Anna Margrethe Wurtz would be.

Grethe Wurtz 1834 census as foster child could be Anna Margrethe.png

Is there a possibility that this is the illegitimate child of Maria Magdalena Besser?

I do have the marriage record in Horup Parish, Viborg County for Ane Margrete Wurtz that gives me the birthdate as 4 June 1825 and birthplace as Fredricks Parish.

I haven't found a confirmation record for Anna Margret Wurtz in Fredricks (or variation of the name). Nor have I found a 15 year old girl with a variation of the name in the 1840 census in Fredricks. Perhaps she has moved by 15 years of age.

    Thanks again for your help.
