I am looking for the birth record for Johann Nikolaus Hack. I have found his marriage record to Christina Mörwald in 1719 and the birth of two of his children 1721 and 1724.

I found a death record for him in 1728 stating that he was 35 years old. https://data.matricula-online.eu/en/oesterreich/st-poelten/schiltern/01%252C2%252C3%252F03/?pg=410

The only birth record I can find is found here https://data.matricula-online.eu/en/oesterreich/st-poelten/schiltern/01%252C2%252C3%252F03/?pg=53 It looks like Hans Nickoaus Hack son of Hans Georg Hack. Could it be Johann Nickolaus and Johann Georg because it was indexed as this on My Heritage? Also the age is off by three years.

Thanks

Yes, it could easily be because Hans is a diminutive of Johann and people could have written one or the other. It was quite frequent it the old records.
