units of money question
I have an ancestor who immigrated from Sweden to the United States in 1882, with a group of Scandinavian Saints. The LDS Skåne Conference record says the price of passage ---by ship from Copenhagen to Hull, overland by train, then from Liverpool to New York, and by train to Utah--- is 297. It is just a number in a column.
Would that likely have been 297 Kronor?
Thank you in advance!
