Can I get the translation on the following birth/christening record for Pehr born 23 Feb. 1784 in Södervidinge Parish? I believe he was baptized the same day and believe the mother is Pernilla Andersdotter. Is there a father mentioned or is she unmarried? What does it say right under Pehr's name? I'm thinking it's probably illegitimate? I'm pretty certain he's attached to the wrong parents in familysearch. His name should be Pehr Pehrsson. Thank you for your help!

The record reads "the 23rd of February and the following day home-baptized, Pernilla Andersdotter's illegitimate child called Pehr. Pehr Arvid's wife held him at the baptism. The godparents (were) Jöns Aradsson (?), Mats Månsson and Anders Måns(son's) wife."

Under Pehr's name in the right column is also the word "oägta-illegitimate".

    No father is mentioned.

Thank you so much for the complete translation! This was an important one -- especially since I can't find his mother and has been attached to the wrong parents! He is 2Z83-HXZ. I will need to unlink him from the parents.
