With the help of DNA I have been able to find the parents of my 3xgreat grandmother, Nelley Wadze Justet, an Indigenous girl who was adopted by Mormon settlers.
I think many of my ancestors were Sanpitch who moved to Indianola in Sanpete in about 1849 or so and attended the school there run by Mormon V Selman. I'd like to find any records for the school or the settlement of Indianola before the indigenous people moved to the reservation. Thanks for any direction.
Would you please look at this question for me and give her a resource.

Please let me know if this helps. I will look into it further and see if I can find more. How interesting. I didn't know this early history of Sanpete county.
